Consent is not relied upon as a basis where it is not actually used.
6.Deal Match and automated assessment
Deal Match uses deterministic rules and scoring to generate an initial, non-binding classification based on the information supplied by the respondent.
It is important to understand that Deal Match:
- is not a valuation
- is not an acquisition decision
- is not an offer
- does not produce a legal or similarly significant decision about the respondent
Human judgement is required before any business decision or relationship progresses.

Personal information is not sold to advertisers or data brokers.
8.International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where required by applicable data-protection law, appropriate safeguards are relied upon. No specific contractual mechanism is represented beyond what is actually in place with a given provider.
9.Retention
Enquiry and Deal Match information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice. The appropriate period depends on factors such as whether a conversation or business relationship develops, legal or regulatory obligations, potential disputes and legitimate record-keeping requirements.
10.Security
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no absolute guarantee of security is given.
11.Your rights
Depending on where you are and the applicable law, you may have rights in relation to your personal data, including:
